Dames Interactive – Games and Stories with Personality

Alilan classic is a small retro-inspired PC game I originally created as a teenager using PowerBASIC — and which resurfaced years later thanks to old floppy disk images I had archived.

In 2025, I dusted off the old code, fixed it up, and re-released the game as the first official title under the Dames Interactive label on itch.io.

Dames Interactive publishes the Yawnlings book series

Yawnlings are gentle bedtime stories for children and parents who want their evenings to grow slower and softer.

The series uses short sentences, calm repetition, and small pauses to create a quiet frame for bedtime routines that should not become more exciting.

Hi, my name is Martin Dames — the solo developer behind Dames Interactive. I have been working as a Java developer since 2008, and over the years I’ve been moving step by step into game development.
